Geomorphic Processes
GlacialRock builds up and is weathered and eroded to form a mountain or another formation. The cold climate produces snow that falls over the land formation.
There are two major types of erosion for glaciers - Starting at the base, loose rocks are combined because of the constant melting and refreezing of the glacier. The other is called scouring. It is when abrasion occurs with rocks and sediments. They are led underneath the glacier. |

KarstCarbonate Rock (A type of sedimentary rock) is revealed from underground through the lifting and faulting of the Earth's surface.
The exposed rock is then subject to physical and chemical weathering. Water plays a big part in the weathering process as it can carry dissolved materials - which help develop the karst formation. |
